TRUE WORSHIPERS ….

John 9:31  ³¹ Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

 

WHAT IS ELOHIM’S WILL …. THE TORAH / READ EXDOUS 20:1

 

Matthew 15:7-9  ⁷ Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,  ⁸ This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.  ⁹ But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

 

John 4:23-24

23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth."

Truth = Torah

 

HaShem is looking for people to keep his Truth = Torah

Truth is not subjective. The truth is the truth for all people.

Example… in our country the law is suppose to be equal for all it citizen. Ha, Ha. 

 

The truth for all people is the 10 commandants

 

Talk about Moses at Mount Sinai, the children of Israel and mix multitude. 

 

The other 603 commandants is for those abiding in the land of Israel.

 

Example… In the US if there were certain laws that you would do on a everyday bases, you may want to continue to do them even out side of the US…. I noticed at the Olympics the gold meal swimmers took off the reefs from the head and crossed the heart and the US anthem was played.

 

These 603 instruction or laws are identifying codes.

These instructions identified Israel as being different for the rest of the world.  

         Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

 

The first ten commandents given were not only to the world at large but to the bride of HaShem.

 

The reason for this is the issue of who so ever will

 

Being part of the bride of Messiah is a LOVE issue

 

John 14:15  "If you love me, you will obey what I command.

 

Mark 12:29 "The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.  30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.'  31 The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these."

John 14:16-21

16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever- 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 19 Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. 20 On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. 21 Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him."

So the first ten commandments become the ketubah a marriage contract.

 

The issue of a true worshipper is on must be proficient in Torah study

But you can be a great Torah scholar and know Torah Talmud etc, etc. and you still not a great worshipper.   WHY?

 

Because you don’t have the Spirit. 

Rom 8:9-10

9 You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.

Rom 8:12-17

 13 For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live, 14 because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. 15 For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father." 16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. 17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs-heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if 

indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

1 Cor 2:12-15
 13 This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words.  14 The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 The spiritual man makes judgments about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man's judgment:

4 There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6 There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men.
7 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. 8 To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10 to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues.  11 All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines.

 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18 And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

Eph 4:1-6

4:1 As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. 2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit- just as you were called to one hope when you were called- 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
